The will of Marah Firman of Stamford, widow of Josiah of Newtown, L. I., dated 27 March 1714 (inventory 29 April 1714), mentioned her son Isaac Weed, daughter Mary Lockwood, daughter Hannah Scofield, daughter Rebecca Firman, son-in-law Samuel Weed, unnamed children of deceased son Joseph, and Rebecca Weed widow of son Joseph, with son-in-law Samuel Scofield as executor [FOOF 1: 653].
