Will of Katherine Bell
In the name of God Amen the sixt day of May 1626 Katherine Bell of Rillington in the County of yorke widow sicke of bodie whole of mind but of good and perfect remembrance lawd and prayse bee unto Almightie god I make and ordeine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following. First I Committ my soule unto Almightie god my maker and Redeemer and to Jesus Christ my Saviour hopeing to bee saved by none other and my bodie to bee buried in the parish Churchyard of Ryllington aforesaid. Inprimis I give unto William Bell my sonne all the farme wherein I now dwell with the house of 4 oxgangs of land thereunto belonging during the tearme. Item I give unto Christopher Wilson and Emmott Wilson ether of them a hodge lambe Item I give unto Mary Simkin a hodge lambe Item I give unto.
